Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif has approved the Honhaar Scholarship program for students from other provinces.
She directed that the number of laptops for students in Punjab be increased to 110,000 and also ordered the establishment of a special helpline for scholarship recipients.
The eligibility criteria for students from other provinces will be the same as in Punjab, with a minimum requirement of 65% marks to qualify for a laptop. Maryam Nawaz emphasized that scholarships and laptops are the right of every student and a responsibility of the government.
